CGS 60th Annual Meeting

Join CGS for our 60th Annual Meeting

Join your colleagues at the CGS Virtual Annual Meeting to reconnect, network, and explore important issues in graduate education. The virtual meeting is an opportunity to enjoy a unique forum to meet university leaders in your field and exchange ideas and resources on shared challenges and opportunities through formal sessions combined with small breakout group meetings. Given the current dual pandemics and their pervasive effects on the graduate education landscape, many sessions will include timely information specific to both COVID-19 and social and racial justice. We will also look to the future and address topics within the larger context of graduate education.

Graduate deans; associate and assistant deans; faculty and staff from colleges and universities; association, federal and state agency, and other education-related administrators; graduate students, and others interested in graduate education are welcome.

Elements of the Virtual Annual Meeting:

    • 4 plenary sessions with formal presentations on timely issues facing graduate education.
    • Follow-on small group breakout discussions around topics raised in the plenary sessions.
    • A “Flash Talk” session with short presentations by colleagues to showcase a topic of their choosing.
    • Concurrent sessions featuring current hot topics.
    • Virtual exhibit hall
