Are you an employer? Do you have a few minutes to share your expertise?

The Council of Graduate Schools (CGS) is conducting a survey on microcredentials, or certificates or badges that indicate satisfactory completion of a non-degree program, and their value to employers. More and more students are pursuing microcredentials – but are they giving them the skills you need?

To students, microcredentials are appealing because of the shorter time commitment and lower costs, but they remain understudied. In particular, the relationship between stackable microcredentials – certificates or badges that can be combined into a degree – and the master’s degree remains unclear. The results of this survey will help graduate educators across the country better prepare your future workforce.

What do microcredentials mean for you?
