Advocacy Ambassadors Network
CGS’s Advocacy Ambassadors Network (AAN) is comprised of volunteer members focused on enacting change through strategic and meaningful advocacy.
Each year, CGS member deans and graduate students attend CGS’s Advocacy Day in Washington, DC. The activities of the event include a training session on effective advocacy strategies with CGS’s government affairs staff, and Congressional meetings on Capitol Hill.
Washington Insights and Highlights
Washington Insights & Highlights is a publication of CGS Public Policy and Government Affairs providing CGS members with up-to-date information on public policy and related initiatives that impact graduate education.
Do you have a great story to share about the impact of master’s or doctoral education? Do you know a graduate student or alumnus whose work has the potential to cure a disease, alleviate poverty, or educate the public? The Council of Graduate Schools would like to hear from you. Our goal is to demonstrate that graduate education matters not only to degree holders, but also to the communities where they live and work.
