A Framework on Graduate Student Mental Health: CGS Members Share Ideas and Guidance
In December 2020, CGS released A Statement of Principles for Graduate Student Mental Health and Wellbeing, a document designed to serve as a blueprint for collective and institutional action to support graduate student wellbeing. Based on a collaboration between CGS and The Jed Foundation and supported with funding by the Alfred P. Sloan and Andrew W. Mellon Foundations, the document outlines values, principles, and tactics for supporting graduate student mental health. This webinar will feature graduate deans whose institutions have formally committed to using the document as a framework for action on their campuses. Participants will learn about a variety of strategies for taking concrete, and institutionally appropriate steps to implement the principles and guidance on their campuses.
