Advocacy Ambassadors Network
    April 29, 2020

CGS’s Advocacy Ambassadors Network (AAN) is comprised of volunteer members focused on enacting change through strategic and meaningful advocacy.

Through access to additional CGS resources on advocacy best practices, AAN members discuss and strategize how to best engage students, campus services, foundations, and policymakers on issues most influential to your institution. AAN Members are invited to participate in:

    • Webinars focused on specific policy and advocacy topics relevant to graduate education
    • In-person events at CGS’s Summer Workshop and Annual Meeting
    • Monthly AAN updates on pressing federal policy issues

AAN’s remote forums, collaborative resources, and conferences initiate relationships among deans and guide effective communication on the impact of graduate education, the role of research universities, and graduate students to the general public, policymakers, and institution’s immediate community with the goal of increasing visibility of graduate education and students.
