The Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program)
The CITI program is a university-wide system dedicated to serving the training needs of colleges and universities, as well as other large institutions, to “foster integrity and professional advancement of their learners”. Many institutions have CITI access; check with your institution. Independent learner prices are $49 for mentoring resources.
National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (NCFDD)
NCFDD is “the leading provider of professional development in higher education”, and provides on-demand access to mentoring, tools, and support to help graduate students, postdocs, and faculty members succeed in their careers. National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN)
The NRMN disseminates innovative, evidence-based best practices to improve mentoring relationships at institutions across the country, with the goal of enhancing the participation of people from underrepresented backgrounds in the biomedical workforce. Their website has a variety of free resources, from publications to courses to tools to address unconscious bias, that are applicable to a variety of disciplines.
Post-Doc Academy
This comprehensive online and in-person program, built on the National Postdoctoral Association core competencies, supports support skill development throughout postdoc training, from orientation to next career step.
