The University of Missouri’s participation in the CGS PhD Career Pathways: Humanities Coalition grant offers a unique opportunity to further address a gap in knowledge and skills training for humanities doctoral students. The MU Graduate School is partnering with the following doctoral programs in the College of Arts & Science for the project: English, History, Ancient Mediterranean Studies (within the Department of Classics, Archaeology, and Religious Studies), and Art History (within the School of Visual Studies).

Our three project activities are providing humanities doctoral students with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively secure resources for the work they may undertake in their future careers:
1. Humanities Grant Writing Speaker Series and Professional Development (PD) Certificate
2. Humanities Grant Writing Course
3. Grant Writing for the Humanities Internship Program
