The First 100 Days of the Trump Administration

By Kelley Karnes

Donald Trump has been president for 18 days and the changes have been swift and many. To help you stay in the loop, the CGS Government Relations and Public Policy Department  created a new webpage to keep graduate deans up to date on the changes and their impact on graduate education and research.

Here you will find the CGS Letter to the Trump transition team, a breakdown of executive actions that impact graduate education, and the latest from the Graduate Policy Monitor, a new weekly email on the first 100 days of the Trump Administration. The first edition came to your inbox yesterday.

Last week CGS released a statement on the White House Office of Management and Budget’s (OMB) rescission of memorandum (M-2513), which would have “temporarily paused the obligation and disbursement of funds for all federal grants, loans, and federal assistance programs and other agency activities.”

The Government Relations and Public Policy Department will continue to monitor the release of executive actions and will post updates as soon as they are announced.
