COVID-19 INFORMATION AND RESOURCES

At CGS our members’ health and safety is our highest priority.  We are aware of public health concerns and want to provide a safe opportunity to gather in-person, while doing our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 at the CGS Annual Meeting.

Please note that we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will continue to update safety precautions as appropriate.

Vaccination Requirements
If you plan to attend the Annual Meeting, please be advised that:

  • All registrants are required to be fully vaccinated prior to participating in the in-person meeting in San Francisco. Fully vaccinated status is defined as having received the complete primary dose series plus booster of a CDC or WHO recognized COVID-19 vaccine at least two weeks prior to the start date of the conference.  OR
  • Show proof of a negative PCR test within the past 72 hours of the meeting start date.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I verify vaccination status?
At the on-site meeting registration desk, attendees will be required to provide one of the following: your paper CDC vaccination card; a photo of your CDC vaccination card; or digital proof from a vaccine verification app on your cell phone.

Is CGS requiring masks at the meeting?
CGS will follow the guidance of the CDC, as well as any additional requirements set by the local government at the time of the conference.

If I cannot attend, can my registration be transferred to another person?
Yes, your registration can be transferred to another individual employed at your institution.  Registrations cannot be transferred to an individual outside of your institution.
