At UMass Boston we have had a “historical” centrally allocated GA model for quite some time, and in my new role one of the big jobs is in time to help develop an updated approach to centrally funded GAships. For those that have employ centrally funded GAships, if you have models or pieces you’re willing to share I’m all ears. This is a “newer” component to the job I admittedly have little experience with, but will be learning quickly. I do know the first lesson is no one will be happy, no matter how things shake out, change is hard.
